Sara has been programming community events and playing Mah Jongg for over 20 years. Today she practices both passions as the Community Program Coordinator at the JCCSF and as the Mah Jongg instructor at the Contemporary Jewish Museum. In college, Sara became a live music junkie while studying Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University and traveling internationally. She embraced the term “Wandering Jew” and started migrating for music festivals and work. Since leaving the nest she’s traveled to over 30 countries and has shared the most recent ten with her dream man, Seth. When she is not planning events she is reading stories with her 1 year old son, playing Scrabble with her husband, or baking chocolate chip cookies for the neighbors.
